Last Thursday 4 October, Closing the Loop was present at the Innovation Expo 2018. This expo showcased many new and innovative businesses and products developed in the Netherlands. Exhibitions related, amongst others, to Energy, Water, Mobility and the Circular Economy were showcased at this event, which drew around 7,000 visitors.
Closing the Loop's stand was visited by Mona Keijzer, Dutch State Secretary for Economic Affairs, who was very happy to hear about the big steps Closing the Loop has taken with its partners towards green public procurement. Secretaries-General Maarten Camps and Lidewijde Ongering also visited the stand to learn about our innovative business model.
CTL encouraged the representatives to promote circular procurement towards their international peers. Wwe believe it is key that lessons are shared and best practices are more widely adopted.
